  3. I wouldn't stay here again

    Positive: Good location, easy to walk to sites around town. Plenty of restaurants and bakery around. Negative: One of the beds was not made when we checked in. The lady said, "Don't worry, it's easy to do. It won't take you long." The check-in time was 4pm when we enquired about checking in early We were told it would cost €20 extra. Disappointed to find there had been no one in the apartment the previous night so the early check in fee wasn't because they had to work harder to get the place clean it was just so they could get more money. There was not enough toilet paper for 3 people for 3 days, some of the dishes were dirty when we arrived and only 1 tablet for the dishwasher for 3 days. The cutting board in the kitchen was broken when we arrived, I told her about it and was quizzed as to how I broke it. She didn't seem to believe me that we found it like that.

    Positive: Comfortable apartment which benefits from secure car parking. Secure entrance with lift. Lovely facilities. We will stay again! Negative: Nothing!

    Why Caen?… You must ask yourself, why do people go to France, and one your answers will probably mention food. On this trip, there were a couple of places I wanted to ‘tick’ off of my list, and Caen was perfectly centralised for our visit intentions. The apartment was ideally located within walking distance of all that Caen had to offer. The parking on the premises was perfect as I didn’t have to worry about loosing a space or security issues. Would I return?….. “absolument”….. I highly recommend

    L’appartement est très bien situé, bien décoré, équipé et confortable. Nous étions au calme avec cependant tout à proximité, bar sympas, restaurants, commerces. On se sent comme à la maison, la place de parking est un vrai plus. La communication avec Sophie a été parfaite. Super point de chute pour visiter Caen et ses environs.

    Le logement était conforme à le description. Propre et bien rangé. Très bien situé. La olace de parking est un plus. Néanmoins, et même si c'était précisé dans les conditions d'arrivée, je regrette les 20 euros en liquide qu'il a fallu payer pour une arrivée après 20h. Je regrette aussi l'absence de sac poubelle et d'un torchon alors que l'hôte demande à ce que la vaisselle soit faite.

Sachez qu'un sac poubelle pour votre séjour de 2 nuits était bien présent sous l'évier, que les 4 torchons à disposition se trouvaient derrière la porte du placard à droite de l'évier et qu'un grille-pain était également présent dans le placard du bas, proche de la bouilloire. N'hésitez pas à me solliciter au besoin lors de votre prochain séjour. Au plaisir de vous recevoir.
